In the
first pages of the book it's described where all the plot of the book will be.
It is said that everything is going to happen in the dining room of the rich
family called "Birling". It remembers me at a enjoyable dinner with
all the family members. Everybody is happy and the people talk with each other.
Some family members make jokes and some are more listening to the others but there’s
a good atmosphere. The engagement with the children of the two bosses which
companies compete also shows that there must be a lot of money in this family. Personally,
I learn some new words because of reading this text. Short expressions like “help
yourself” seem to be easy. Yes, they are easy but that makes it not less
necessary. It’s the opposite. For example, when you are in vacation in an English
spoken country in a “Bed and Breakfast” Hotel and the owner of this business
welcomes you in the morning and after woods he says: “help yourself with making
your breakfast!” These are the word I need for the everyday life usage.
